National EMS Week will get kicked off May 17th – May 23rd. During this week it is the only time that we celebrate the success’, the saves, the people that make up the EMS community. It is necessary to look at this week as a chance for EMS agencies across the nation to pull together in celebration in an effort to fundraise for their favorite charity, and bring together all those who make up the system. I am in talks with people now to make an annual event of a premiere of a movie as a small portion of the event, but make it available across the nation at different theaters.
